Bristol is excellently located in the South-West. The city has a newly built shopping centre and cinema complex Cabot Circus within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. There are excellent shops here including Harvey Nicholls. Further along the river is the SS Great Britain, an historic ship built by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. A short walk along the waterfront would then take you to his famous cast iron suspension bridge over the Avon. Close by is situated Bristol Zoo Gardens and the Downs, both make excellent days out for family members. For more information on what to do and other accommodation see Bristol City Website
